I'll be starting as a Freshman at Stanford this September, so I don't yet know what resources I can get access to. I'll keep my eyes open though. There'a a lot of money that flows through that school, and I'm sure they have phase-doppler-type measurement systems at SLAC. Water will be dissociated via both electrolysis and thermolysis within the plasma of the arc discharge. Initially this liberates H1 and O1, which can combine most explosively. Stoichiometric ratios of hydrogen and oxygen can detonate with a velocity above that of dynamite, and below that of TNT.
